Cranes Software has entered a joint venture with Kanoo Group, a diversified business house, to offer customised solutions around its product domains and enterprise in West Asia. The verticals to be targetted include banking, financial services and insurance, retail, petrochemical manufacturing and life sciences, education and travel.
The company plans to offer its clients customised solutions in its product domains and services in the areas of analytics, enterprise project and portfolio management, Six Sigma consulting, and enterprise applications by leveraging its products, IPs and capabilities.
Speaking on the joint venture, Mishal Kanoo, deputy chairman of The Kanoo Group said, "The JV with Cranes Software International is significant as it owns some of the best scientific and engineering software products and is considered the industry leader in its products domain. The JV will help us promote Cranes Software’s state-of-the-art products through our strong network in West Asia."

The venture will also enable greater focussed access to West Asia of Cranes Software's major products, namely statistical, data visualisation and engineering tools like SYSTAT, the Sigma Product Line and the NISA family of FEA products.
